Nu Flow Technologies, sewer lining specialists, supply only lining listed for fire sprinkler systems with a half to twelve inch diameter.

Nu Flow Technologies recently announced the listing of their Nu Flow 7000™ epoxy by the International Code Council Evaluation Service (ICC_ES) in August 2019. This very well established company is the only supplier of lining listed for fire sprinkler systems for residential and commercial applications.

Fire sprinklers are also at risk of blockages and leaks and the Nu Flow 7000 epoxy can save time, money and effort when it comes to replacement. The epoxy is blown into the pipe. It then coats the interior of the pipe creating a strong and durable internal barrier. This process has already proven effective in potable water applications for decades and is gaining ground in the fire suppression industry.

Nu Flow 7000 is the only recognized product by the ICC-ES for copper, galvanized sprinkler pipe and black steel applications from half an inch to twelve inches in diameter. The International Code Council requires testing samples, along with a full assessment of the quality system, ensuring that the product is compliant with codes and standards for plumbing and mechanics, including International Fire Code and International Building Code, Uniform Plumbing Code, and ASTM F2831-2019.

The Nu Flow epoxy was put through extreme conditions to simulate the conditions a fire sprinkler system may encounter. This included high temperatures of up to four hundred degrees Fahrenheit and low temperatures of minus twenty degrees Fahrenheit. There were no signs of flaking, deformation, leaking or cracking in the material.

Cameron Manners, the President at Nu Flow Technologies, said “Nu Flow 7000 is manufactured in compliance with ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System, ensuring the superior and consistent quality our clients can expect. Fire marshals in many jurisdictions have expressed interest in the epoxy, while waiting on approval from local fire officials.”

Nu Flow Technologies is excited for the future of Nu Flow 7000, which they are hoping will save time and money for many companies and private residents when it comes to updating their fire sprinkler systems in the future.
