Middle East Power and Water Leaders Set To Meet In Dubai This November
 
The Global IWPP Summit - a leading forum for the power and water sector in the GCC, announced the 3rd installment of its annual series in Dubai on the 4th and 5th of November, 2014. Organized by Fleming Gulf, the summit will gather policy makers, top utility leaders, ministries and technology providers in the sector to share their vision and collaborate their efforts in order to establish sustainable initiatives required for the region. The summit; which in the past has seen the announcement of a 270MW coal fired power plant in the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah, aims at fostering innovation and nurturing partnerships thereby improving efficiencies in power and water plants while also touching upon key challenges and developments in the sector.

Supported by The Ministry of Energy, U.A.E, this years' summit will host regional VIP speakers such as H. E. Mohammed Bin Jarsh, MD of Abu Dhabi Water and Electricity Company(ADWEC), H. E. Dr. Rashid Al Leem - Chairman of Sharjah Electricity and Water Authority(SEWA), H. E. Mr. Adel Al Roumi - President, Partnership Technical Bureau (Kuwait), Mubarak Al Nasr - CEO of Ras Laffan Operating Company and MD - Ras Laffan Power Company (Qatar) and H. E. Mohammed Mohammed Saleh, Director General - Federal Electricity and Water Authority (FEWA). The summit will also feature a special case study on “Private Sector Participation in Public Utility Projects in the Srilankan Electricity Sector' which will be orated by Damitha Kumarasinghe, Director General - Public Utilities Commission of Srilanka.
