Wann diese sein könnt ist aktuell noch ungewiss, aber allzu lange dürfte es nicht mehr dauern.Android 4.4.4 KitKat steht bisher nur als Factory Image auf den Servern von Google zum Download bereit. Ein OTA-Update für die Geräte Nexus 4, Nexus 5, Nexus 7 WiFi (2012 und 2013), Nexus 7 3G (2012) und Nexus 10 wird für die kommenden Tage erwartet. Wann die Hardware-Partner von Google ein Update auf Android 4.4.4 KitKat verteilen und ob überhaupt ist nicht bekannt. Am schnellsten dürfte die Noch-Google-Tochter Motorola mit Updates für das Moto X, Moto G und Moto E folgen.

Das LG G Pad Movie kommt nicht ganz von ungefähr, denn diese Woche soll der Verkauf des LG G Pad 7.0 für 199 Euro in Europa beginnen. Das Tablet selbst besitzt ein namensgebendes 7 Zoll Display, dass eine Auflösung von 1.280 x 800 Pixel hat. Der Arbeitsspeicher ist 1 GB groß und dient als Unterstützung für den 1,2 GHz schnellen Snapdragon 400 Quad-Core. Für Apps, Dokumente und alle anderen Arten von Daten stehen 8 GB interner Flash-Speicher bereit, der sich mit MicroSD-Speicherkarten um bis zu 64 GB erweitern lässt. Als Betriebssystem kommt Android 4.4 KitKat mit der LG Optimus UI zum Einsatz.Angetrieben wird das Acer Iconia Tab 7 HD von einem MediaTek MT8382-Prozessor. Die CPU verfügt über vier Rechenkerne, die mit einer Taktfrequenz von 1,3 GHz angetrieben werden. Der Zentraleinheit stehen 1.024 MB Arbeitsspeicher zur Seite. Unter dem eingesetzten Betriebssystem Google Android 4.4 („Kitkat“) ist also ein hohes Arbeitstempo zu erwarten. Der Flachrechner kommt mit einem 7-Zoll-Display, das dank IPS-Technologie auch aus einem steilen Blickwinkel gut ablesbar ist. Auf der Anzeigefläche lassen sich 1.280 x 800 Bildpunkte darstellen.
