Once sanding is completed, use a soft cloth to apply the oil or stain to the entire board and fin. Multiple coats will be needed, up to 3 or 4 coats over a few days span. Once the stain or oil has dried for at least 24 hours, apply the fin using glue. Keep in mind that minor flaws only add character, so do not expect it to be perfect.
