In addition, a revamped the scouting feature will be making its way into the game as post-launch content, with EA declaring that it will be available as a "live-service update" in September. The updated system will let players find new talent through national as well as regional Scouts and regional scouts, with EA affirming that the system is considerably more comprehensive than it was originally. To create a more realistic game prospects will also be moved from one roster throughout the year in line with their performance.

EA calls the weekly strategy feature to be the basis of Madden NFL 22 Franchise Mode. The system is said to allow players to review data and make informed decisions about how to manage their team. They will have an opportunity to assess the strengths of their opponents, monitor fatigue levels, analyze performance, and so on.

Additionally, EA details the enhanced season engine, which was teased briefly in Madden NFL 22's most recent trailer. The enhanced season engine is expected to offer 50 scenarios which will simulate real NFL managers who have to make difficult decisions. The company gave an example in which a manager faces difficult challenges while coordinating with an aspiring wide receiver. If they are able to get over these difficulties, they'll have the potential to turn them into a rising star, adding another major name to their roster.

Madden 22's update to franchise mode is a great beginning. There are three ways that you can make it even more enjoyable

Madden 22 information continues to be released. EA has released a thorough video detailing the enhancements made to Madden 22's franchise mode just a week following the announcement as well as the first trailer.

The developers of the game are to be credited with promising enhancements to this year's game following complaints from fans about the franchise moden't being included in last year’s game. EA made a five-minute video Tuesday, which confirmed that affirmation. The feature will be completely overhauled.

It's a good start but it's not enough. I'd like to see that the mode gets the same kind of attention in the next few years. To provide gamers with a more authentic experience with the franchise, I have some suggestions.

Over the past decade, Madden players have been begging to be assistant coaches. They finally made their return this year. But it doesn't look like they'll have much influence on a team's plan this is a disappointment.

Instead, the assistants will mostly assist in the development of players and certain situations in games, like red zone or third down plays.

Although coordinators have an impact on those aspects in real life however their main job is playing-calling. This isn't being represented in the current season's game.

As you can see in the screenshot above, Matt Nagy has both an offensive and defensive playbook that is assigned to him, so if the Bears were to alter their defensive coordinator, the defensive system is likely to remain in place. It is possible that a team's scheme could be changed due to personnel firings or hirings could be a nice touch and add variation to the user's experience.

It's almost impossible to capture the game-planning elements of football in an accurate fashion. It's therefore difficult to justify Madden developers for selecting an in-game system that has attribute boosters for specific types of play.

But a sound strategy doesn't always make a player better at certain aspects of the game. rather, it puts the player in situations that make his job easier through play-calling. My best corner won't be able protect their best receiver. Even if we attempt to concentrate on man coverage, we'll never be able to play many games of Cover 1.

One way to make that happen more realistically could be to make users to limit the types of formations and play options they have to choose from during a particular game. So one week, when you're up against a team is adept at defending the inside zone, you might opt for more outside zone runs in your game plan.

This could be a different way to improve the effectiveness of the coaching team. A higher-rated coordinator may allow you to incorporate more plays in your game plan every week. If you have a poor-rated assistant, it could restrict your play-calling options.

I do like the addition of halftime adjustments, and this idea could be carried into my proposed system.

It is possible to adjust the plays you choose to play depending on the information you're getting from the defense during the first half, and the number of plays you can alter is contingent on the attributes of your coaching staff.

If, for instance, you've got Jon Gruden as your head coach, you can put together a wide range of play options for the week but your ability to modify that lineup throughout the game is limited. And if you were to have Bill Belichick -- or the fake version which is playingyou're able to take your entire plan of attack and create another one at halftime.

This one shouldn't be too hard to add to the game as contract information is freely available on the internet on sites like Over the Cap and Spotrac. Other franchises like NBA 2K or Football Manager aren't having any issues incorporating more complicated contract options into their games to boost realism.

Realistic contracts are only the beginning. The way things are now in the NFL, all 32 teams are basically operating the same way which is unrealistic. Madden might add team-specific direction as well as front office philosophy (rebuilding, winnow mode or tanking) or even team principles. and owners with personality traits that determine what you're able to and aren't able to accomplish -- the previously mentioned Football Manager has this feature on a very high level, therefore it's certainly possibleit could add diversity to the game and make the process of upgrading your roster more difficult and rewarding.

Make sure we don't have any more cap casualties and blockbuster trades in exchange for draft selections. We have the ability to restructure contracts so that our cap situation is just as dire as it was for the Saints.

Roster construction is now an essential aspect of NFL coverage and has reached the point that many fans who are not familiar with the basic arrangement of contracts. This is especially true for playing-calling and the scheme. Capturing these aspects of the game is most important factor in creating a game-changing franchise mode that you can play throughout the duration of the game.

Madden NFL 22: Ranking the likely candidates for the iconic cover of this season's Madden NFL.

It's this time of year once again where we're waiting eagerly for the reveal of who will appear on the cover of this year's version of Madden NFL 22. EA Sports announced this week that the cover of this coming season will be revealed on the 17th of June on a Thursday and they've provided a short teaser that leaves a couple of clues to guess who might be on the cover. (We got a nice cameo for Madden NFL 12 cover athlete Peyton Hillis as well! The cover can be found here.

The teaser featured two goats -- one notably older than the other- causing a ruckus within a barn. Then, they emerged to reveal the date of the announcement for the cover.

While we only have just a few days until we know who will be featured on the cover this year and we've decided to take it upon ourselves to roll through a few candidates who might be eligible to be worthy of this distinction. Below are our top three choices for an athlete who will be a cover model as well as our top options if EA Sports chooses to cover a pair of players, as the teaser suggests.

The Madden NFL's four most recent cover athletes were quarterbacks. It makes sense that our top pick would be someone who can line up underneath the center. Following a season in 2020 which he was an MVP quarterback, Bills quarterback Josh Allen is an ideal candidate for the next chapter of the videogame franchise. Allen has set new career records in passing yards and passing touchdowns last year and had Buffalo on the brink of being in the running for a Super Bowl appearance after appearing in the AFC Championship. Allen is a superstar at this point in his career and Bills Mafia certainly would like to have him become the first franchise player to have his name -and the team's logo on the cover.

If you're not interested in having to protect the quarterback, then I don't see how you can overlook Derrick Henry. In fact there was a possibility of a leak back in March which suggested Henry as the cover athlete. While it remains unknown whether or not he'll appear on this year's cover, Henry is certainly deserving of the honor. In some instances, the large-bodied running back appears like something from video games when the defenders he takes often on a regular basis. Henry has led the NFL in rushing for consecutive seasons and has beaten all skill position players in 2020, with the longest number of years from the scrimmage (2,141). If an entire season in which you average 126.7 yards of rushing per game can't land you the cover of Madden NFL, I'm not sure what will.

While some may be offended by the notion of a defensive player making his way onto the Madden NFL cover, it isn't at all unusual. Richard Sherman was the last defense player to make the Madden NFL 15 cover athlete. Ray Lewis (Madden NFL 2005) and Troy Polamalu were also there. If you're looking to that particular side of the ball for a cover athlete, there's none more dominant than Donald, who has been in the 99 Club for four straight seasons. With this in mind the only place you can climb in the game is finally getting on the cover.

Following the release of the teaser earlier in the week, everyone thought that it was the result of a combination. Of course, Tom Brady is widely described as the greatest player of all time (G.O.A.T) and Patrick Mahomes is looked at as the next great quarterback to follow the footsteps of his predecessors. Therefore, it's only normal to think that there's a possibility -- or even a possibility -- that there are two athletes on the cover. But when EA Sports trots out an elder goat and a baby goat in its teaser,, it's hard not to think of Brady and Mahomes. Both quarterbacks have appeared on the Madden NFL Cover before, with Brady doing it for Madden NFL 18, and Mahomes taking the lead in Madden NFL 20.

It's admittedly an odd choice if this was the combo since it's as if the two of them were just on the cover a short time before. It's a good thing, as they went toe to toe in the Super Bowl last year.

EA Job Listing: Madden Could Be Coming To A Switch

Madden NFL was once a regular feature on Nintendo platforms. It's been more than a decade since the release of Madden NFL 13 on Wii U. EA previously stated that they would not be the game being released on the Switch in the year 2018. However recent job listings indicated that Madden might be coming to Switch.

Doctre81 on YouTube found the job listing "Online Software Engineer (C++ ) - Madden" earlier in November 2020. For the requirements of the job one section requires 2 years of working experience on "Microsoft, Sony or Nintendo game consoles". That may seem like a lot however, prior EA jobs listings didn't include Nintendo within their selection criteria.

EA might be considering the possibility of releasing. It's important to remember that in June 2020, EA confirmed it would launch seven Switch games within the 12-month time frame. We have six confirmed games as of June 2020. These include Apex Legends which was announced earlier this week.

There's still one to go, but given the Madden's release schedule each year, EA could potentially be waiting until the release of Madden NFL 22 release - as in contrast to a Madden NFL 21 port - given that they normally release in August. Or, let's hope it isn't another legacy edition, shall we?

Madden NFL 21 Makes Its Super Bowl LV Prediction

The weekend ahead will be the host for Super Bowl 55, the finale of one the most turbulent seasons the history of the NFL ever played. The teams for this year's contest have already been determined. The Kansas City Chiefs will go against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in a match between the NFL's best quarterbacks: Patrick Mahomes and Tom Brady. As is now an annual custom, Electronic Arts is celebrating the Super Bowl with a Madden NFL simulation. The Madden NFL 21 simulation this year seems to indicate the best match.

The current Madden NFL 21 Super Bowl simulation witnessed the Kansas City Chiefs defeat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and Tom Brady win by a score 37-27. EA did not provide any statistical breakdowns or play by play details on this simulation. It did share that the Buccaneers led early, at 13-7. However, the Kansas City Chiefs lead by 14-13 at the half. The second half is a clear example of the teams' offenses begin to take off.

Six minutes remain in the fourth quarter Madden NFL 21 sees the game as tied at 27. Here's where the EA Super Bowl summary doesn't contain all the facts. There's a red zone run from Mahomes that delivers a touchdown for the Chiefs, at the very least. The exact location where the Chiefs field goal come into play and what defense stops that stop the Buccanneers off scoring are left to the fan's imaginations. It's enough to say that the last six minutes very much are in the Chiefs for the Chiefs' benefit.

EA is yet to release a complete video of Madden NFL 21 Super Bowl 55 simulation. This is a first. Instead, it released a video filled with video clips of gameplay and commentary from actor King Keraun portraying his Madden spokesperson, The Spokesplayer. It's not clear if EA is able to simulate a single game, or whether it runs multiple games and picks the most successful game, or exactly how EA runs its simulation. This is the official Super Bowl 55 prediction for Madden NFL 21.

The past few years Madden NFL's Super Bowl predictions have a good track record, but it's not always reliable. The most recent predictions of the franchise in particular have been less successful than years prior. Even though it was able to get the victory last year for Kansas City Chiefs, four of its six previous guesses were incorrect.

Whether or not Madden NFL's correct picture of this year's edition continues to deliver both the Chiefs and Madden winning, remains to be determined. Super Bowl 55 will start on February 7 at 6:15 EST. You can catch me on CBS or the CBS All Access app with an active subscription.

The weekly challenges will also scale along with the season. Certain are on the missions tab while others are listed in the challenge tab. Make sure to play them regularly throughout the week to reap maximum rewards. Even if you lose against player is better than never playing.
