This is of course the simplest stretch, and most should learn how to do it. Make sure you have a tinderbox and/or a knife and use them your toolbelt, and don't bring everything else than the best hatchet you possibly can wield (you will get a steel-equivalent hatchet via Major Mary Rancour south-east of the Burthorpe lodestone)

You can easily carry out normal trees anywhere before you reach level 15 through either burning the logs and generating a bonfire, or cutting them into arrow shafts. I recommend arrow shafts, as they sell for 3gp each, and every normal firewood gives 15 arrow shafts, giving you a net profit of 45 gp for each log. This can be important income for upgrading your hatchet after you reach higher levels.

Once you reach degree 15, go do Oak trees just beyond Draynor. The best location would be the three Oak trees located just west of the lowest level Divination share, just before the connect to Wizard's tower. There are also about three oaks located west associated with Draynor bank, use those if you wish to bank your logs.

Levels 30-68

This may to some function as most boring stretch, but don't worry, you'll earn plenty of money repeating this. There are however some traps you might fall into, like chopping willows next to Draynor bank. Do not, I repeat do not chop willows all-around Draynor bank. It is way as well crowded, giving you less exp hourly. In theory it is the foremost location, but realistically not.

The best locations I have found for chopping willows, are just west of Barbarian Assault minigame (will also be crowded at times), and just south-east with the bar in Port Sarim (ceremony deposit your logs within the docks, though it is a little further than the standard bank options).

I recommend storing as well as making arrow shafts coming from all your willow logs, so make sure the fletching level is up to speed.

You are going to chop willows entirely to level 68, so steel yourself.
