Irvine, CA, Dec 11, 2014 -- Universal Branding Inc. ( http://marketmty.com.mx/), distributor of power and pneumatic tools for professional and home uses, has upgraded from Microsoft Excel sheets to Project Insight project management software (www.projectinsight.net) to better track, update and allocate their projects with one centralized solution. Headquartered in Monterrey, Mexico, Universal Branding has expanded throughout Central and South America, and most recently into the United States in Miami, Florida. The rapid and extensive increase, however, raised new challenges for the fast growing company.

Universal Branding found that Excel sheets were no longer efficient enough to support their projects. The power tools distributer was now facing the need for a powerful solution.

Prior to their project management software implementation, Universal Branding lacked transparency throughout their global distribution centers. Inevitability, this created issues with document sharing, resource management, and project forecasts. There was limited to no access on the project process or updates, and in some cases, management was unaware of who was in charge of each project.

In search of a powerful tool, management evaluated three project management solutions. "We selected Project Insight because the other solutions, quite simply, didn't have the robust features we needed," explained David Attias, CEO of Universal Branding.
Since acquiring Project Insight project management software in November of 2013, Universal Branding is continuously increasing and adopting the software's full capabilities.

The results:
- Better project organization and control for greater productivity
- A central location where project managers in geographically dispersed offices can view, track and update projects in real time
- Customized, real time reports for better decision making.

"Now we have complete control over our projects," stated Attias, "We track all projects, update them in real time and manage resource allocation better. We can divide projects among more project managers, which makes us more efficient. And as we get more involved with the software, we're taking advantage of more of its capabilities."
