The 6th edition of the Tehri Lake Festival is all set to take off from 25th – 27th February, 2019. The 3 day boisterous festival will offer unlimited avenues of fun and fervour, where people from around the world will get a chance to restore their balance of adventure, tourism, trade, culture and more!

Tehri, a well planned town of Uttarakhand is blessed with immense natural beauty and is a perfect destination for adventure seekers and nature lovers. To celebrate the trade, tourism and cultural aspects of Tehri Lake, every year, the Government of Uttarakhand organizes the world famous ‘Tehri Lake Festival’ where one can find non-stop action blended with unspoilt nature! Till Now, 5 Editions of this grand festival have been organized and has attracted people from far and wide. In 2018, Tehri Lake Festival was organized at a grand scale and recorded an impressive footfall spread over 3 days. The overwhelming response to the Festival in 2018 was not only from the trade and industrial sector, but also from the people with different backgrounds - from Chefs, to adventure organizers to tourists; the festival had something for everyone.

Carrying forward the excitement, the festive environment at TLF 2019, will be captured by an all round adventure theme, where the people can pamper themselves with aerial sports like para-gliding and hot-air balloon rides; water sports like jetskiing and motor-boating; land sports like motor-bike rallies. In addition to these thrilling elements, the adrenaline of the people will also be charged with continuous cultural boasts through mind blowing vibrant performances and an energetic parade, amidst which one can initiate the taste-buds towards the pahadi food at the irresistible food court. During the festival, an exhibition pavilion would also be present where people can satisfy their desires of going on a shopping spree – handmade fabrics, paintings in the local art forms, memorable souvenirs amongst a lot of other things.
