Royal Decree 463/2020 by the Spanish government restricts the free movement

• To prevent the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic Spanish government took measures by declaring the state of alarm to tackle the Health Emergency the Royal Decree announced the restriction on the freedom of movement of a person.
• According to one of the points which are mentioned in this decree, any travel has been banned except when traveling for something necessary thus every person is recommended not to travel unless there is an emergency.
• In the legal territory of Spain the activities which are related to public performance, leisure activity, Hotel & restaurant, Sporting Events, Parades, and other festivals are suspended until further notification
Travel to the United States
• In view of the outbreak of COVID-19, the government of the United States of America declared the restrictions on all every travel ban on the incoming flights to the USA and also restricted all Airports, seaports, Vehicles and Train movement to the USA.
• These restrictions also include the ban on transportation of non-essentials from Mexico but these restrictions don’t affect the travel via flights between both countries.
• The people who are visiting the USA from the republic of China, Iran, the UK, Ireland are especially restricted from entering the USA.
• Those citizens of the USA who hold the valid passport, green card or any other diplomatic documents are exempted from this restriction (Till date).
Changes in Domestic Operations due to COVID-19
• According to the current scenario of COVID-19, Aeromexico has to make amendments in all its operations for the safety of its employees as well as the passengers and they also have to take some corrective measures as the safety is the topmost priority of Aeromexico.
• It is incessantly changing its plan of action as the pandemic is spreading by leaps and bounds especially for those who are departing from Mexico City and from Montenarry.

For the flights which are departing from Mexico City, the schedule is as follows
• The Flight which is going to Montenarry has the highest flight frequency is 17. Followed by 12 and 13 which are flying to Chihuahua, Tijuana, Hermosillo & Villahermosa and Cancun and Guadalajara.

Changes in International Operations due to COVID-19: The outbreak COVID-19 created havoc in the whole world thus the international operations of the Aeromexico airlines have modified international operations which are mentioned below.

Operations in Asia: The operations of the flights with Seoul is suspended for a specific period which ends on April 30 and the flight operations will resume with the frequency of 2 flights per week and the operations in Tokyo are reduced to the frequencies of 3-4 flights.

• Operations in Central America: The operations in Guatemala, San Jose, San Salvador and Managua are suspended till April 30, 2020
• Operations in Canada and South America: The Operations in Aeromexico is suspended till April 30, 2020, and will resume from the month of May. In addition to this, the operations in the Caribbean are also suspended till April 30, 2020.
• Operations in the USA and Europe: The operations in the USA and Europe are suspended until the last week of April and the first week of May.

Passengers flying from Madrid
Those passengers who make Aeromexico reservations for flying from Madrid, Spain is notified that Aeromexico will now be operated from the Adolfo Suarez Madrid-Barajas Airport. Any further change after this temporary change will be communicated to the passengers via official channels.
