All that the patient needs, is access to either a telephone or smartphone with the app installed, which is easy and quick to do. One of tapPG’s experienced doctors will conduct the consultation much as one’s own GP would normally do, and then send the prescription to a pharmacy of the patient’s choice, alternatively to one that the GP suggests. This is the patient’s choice.

The GP will also, upon request, provide the patient with a sick note or a referral for further treatment by another clinician, for example a specialist.
