The major worry I have with Felipe is the output signal of investing in him. Since there's a better POTM edition of him accessible at an inexpensive price on the ticket counter, I'm not sure how expensive his card would be if he traveled diamond. As for me, I wouldn't think it would go over around 10,000 stubs, and even that is slightly generous. Also, there have been a few cases in the past where POTM chooses had their LS upgrades slightly delayed, so while I'd believe that Felipe would possibly go diamond if he keeps this pace, I'm not very confident enough to list him at the upgrades column.

First off, this card is a fantastic budget reliever that I used until only yesterday because my seventh reliever. Wilson has had a very nice year, putting a 2.76 ERA and a 1.016 WHIP. His BABIP against is a very modest.227 along with his FIP sits in 3.22, so he has gotten a little lucky in the ERA department, but is getting an excellent season nonetheless. In addition, he struck out 11, and competitions only batted.118 against him. His /9's for the year are impressive for the most part (5.3 H/9, 1.1 HR/9, 3.8 BB/9, 12.3 K/9), with his H/9 and K/9 both being in career bests. However, his HR/9 is also in a livelihood, and he is walking batters in a greater rate than the last two seasons.

Wilson's H/9 is the area which needs to be updated most. His H/9 this year is.6 above Dellin Betances (99 H/9 stat),.9 below Roberto Osuna (88 H/9 stat), 1.3 below Wade Davis (89 H/9 stat), plus a whopping 3 below Cody Allen (91 H/9 stat). Wilson's H/9 currently sits in 72, and even taking into consideration his low BABIP against should allow this stat to reach into the 80's. However, his HR/9 stat rankings 98th from 162 qualified relievers, also ranks.02 greater than Tyler Duffey (47 HR/9) and.01 worse than Bud Norris (61 HR/9). Wilson's present HR/9 stat is at 73, so this likely deserves a downgrade to the high/mid 60's. Last, his BB/9 rankings 108th one of the 162 qualified relievers, which isn't really good. He has the specific same BB/9 as his newest Cubs teammate Pedro Strop, yet Strop includes a BB/9 evaluation of 45 while Wilson's is at 67. Wilson's BB/9 stat probably deserves to be transferred to closer to 60 now, so all in all it is difficult to tell whether Wilson will go gold. Additionally, it appears to be much tougher for non-closers to go gold, so his new movement to reliever can make it more difficult.
