BSP Thread Fittings are 55-degree non-thread sealing pipe threads, belonging to the Wyeth thread family.
 
BSP Thread Fittings are 55-degree non-thread sealing pipe threads, belonging to the Wyeth thread family. Marked as G stands for the cylindrical thread. NPT Thread Fittings are 60-degree tapered pipe thread that belongs to the American standard and is used in North America.

BSP thread
Straight thread: It is matched with the matching straight thread and is sealed by the end face of the sealing ring.
Oblique thread: It is matched with the same straight thread or oblique thread, and sealed by thread coating.

NPT thread
NPT is the American oblique thread standard ANSI B2 1968, 60° tapered pipe thread. It is matched with the same standard thread and sealed by thread coating.
