A workshop on Advanced Java was recently conducted by CETPA INFOTECH in its Noida Training Center. This workshop was organized takes learners beyond the Java basics so that they can understand and use some of the more advanced and powerful features of the Java and API. The workshop was attended by engineering students as well as corporate professionals. This 3-4 hour workshop lasted for 2 days.

In this hands-on workshop, participants acquired the skills they need to write java application using some advanced technique.The workshop was organized for students who for programmers who already understand the fundamentals of the Java language, such as writing classes and using inheritance. This workshop was organized with the motive of enhancing student’s technical knowledge in Advanced JAVA. Some of the topics covered in the workshop included using exceptions, multi-threaded programming in Java, Java's I/O system, network programming with java.net, distributed programming with Remote Method Invocation (RMI), and accessing databases with Java Database Connectivity (JDBC).

At the end of the learning session, the experts organized a small quiz based on the technology and at last participants were given certificates. Core Java is used for developing general Java application whereas Advanced Java is used for developing the web based application and enterprise application. Core Java is having the concept of Java fundamentals, Applet, Swings, JDBC, and JavaBeans etc.
