Zalcano shard OSRS can be used on the dragon pickaxe to alter its appearance. It is solely a cosmetic upgrade, and will not change the stats. This item is the second cosmetic item for the dragon pickaxe, after the dragon pickaxe upgrade kit.

Successfully subduing Zalcano will reward players with various gems, ores, bars, runes and the crystal tool seed. OSRS crystal tool seed can be combined with crystal shards and existing dragon tools to create degradable crystal axes, crystal pickaxes and crystal harpoons.
