What is RuneScape Oddment?

Oddments are currency obtained from Treasure Hunte, which can be used in the Oddments Store. They can be stored in the currency pouch. Every Treasure Hunter chest opened yields oddments. The amount depends on the rarity of the prize and whether it is subsequently claimed or discarded.

Changes to Treasure Hunter Oddments

To make Oddments more satisfying, some changes have been made to RuneScape Treasure Hunter Oddments with the update on October 21st:
1. The develop team is improving the Oddments exchange rate on all items, meaning that players receive double or triple the Oddments (depending on gem rarity).
2. The price of items in the Oddments Store is increasing slightly, but the end result is that the whole Oddments process will net players more than it did before.
3. Everyone’s Oddments balance is doubled.
4. Some new items are added to the oddments Store (Proteans, Small Portable Packs and Magic Notepaper).
5. The team tweaked the price of items to offer greater rewards for Bonus XP options over Direct XP.
