Identifying Your Ideal Body Fat Percentage

Part one is monitoring what you eat and drink everyday.

Easier said than done, as we usually have cravings and look forward to certain types of food (these food are normally unhealthy food such as cakes, ice cream and other sugary snacks). Nevertheless, if you are serious about losing weight, ensure that you control your cravings as well as your diet. Your diet should consist of food products that are rich in fibres and antioxidants such as fruits and green, leafy vegetables.

Increase the intake of protein, and reduce taking too much carbohydrates as this would only result in your weight ballooning. If you enjoy taking meat in your meals, opt for lean meat, and try to avoid red meat. Avoid carbonated and sugary beverages as much as possible as well to aid weight loss efforts.

Part two requires you to have plenty of rest at the end of each day. Do not underestimate the importance of good rest, because after a long and tiring day, rest and sleep is essential for your body cells to repair and rebuild.

If you do not get enough rest at the end of each day, you would wake up the following morning feeling fatigued and exhausted, and this does not help in your weight loss attempts. Always ensure that you get at least seven to eight hours of sleep each day to allow your body to recharge.
