Post Graduate Diploma in Management, also known as PGDM is a diploma course offered by colleges that are autonomous and recognized by AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education). It’s a two-year course. This course focuses more on the practicality of business rather than the theoretical part of the business. The syllabus of the course has been carefully designed to develop conceptual knowledge and soft skills in the students who plan on working in the industry. PGDM helps an individual become industry-oriented.

There are many good colleges that offer PGDM courses in Bangalore as well as other cities. Some institutes require valid scores of competitive exams for admissions while others conduct their own examination.

Common Admission Test (CAT):
It is one of the toughest MBA entrance exams conducted by IIMs, and many of the top B-schools accept CAT scores for admissions.
Graduate Management Aptitude Test [GMAT]
It is conducted by the Graduate Management Admission Council, and colleges under GMAC accept its scores.
