4/22/2019 After completing this course the student will have gained a wide body of practical knowledge on servicing and troubleshooting factory built portable hot tubs regardless of brand; mastered the essentials of hot tub water chemistry, electrical systems, circulation and filtration; and learned tips and tricks for basic repairs to interior surfaces. The Certified Hot Tub Technician program covers the essentials of servicing portable hot tubs, and equipment repair and replacement. Instruction is given by industry experts, based upon the APSP Hot Tub Technician Manual and Workbook. Upon completion of the training program, you will be eligible to take the CHTT exam. There are no experience requirements; new employees are eligible.

The registration fee includes the APSP Certified Hot Tub Technician Manual and Workbook.

Target Audience: Individuals in the service Industry who service and repair portable hot tubs. Taking this class makes you eligible to take the APSP CHTT test to become a CHTT Certified Hot Tub Technician®. There are no experience requirements; new employees are eligible. 24 CEUs are earned after successfully completing this course.

Course Fee: $473/member and $573/non-member. (includes the manual and workbook)

Exam Information: To become certified as a CHTT Certified Hot Tub Technician®, you must complete the CHTT Course and take the CHTT Exam. An additional registration form and $115 fee for the CHTT exam is required. The CHTT exam is a 1 hour, open-book exam with 50 multiple-choice questions. You must score 75% or better to pass (answering at least 38 questions correctly).

Choose How to Take the Exam:

On a computer at a PSI computer testing center near you. Computer testing gives immediate test results and flexible times to take the exam.
At an APSP national, regional or chapter-sponsored testing event. A list of upcoming events can be found at APSPUniversity.org. You will receive your exam results by US Mail approximately 3 weeks after the exam.
