Pissouri Bay Divers make it easy for those wanting to go diving in Cyprus in 2023

Anyone wanting to go diving in Cyprus will find that Pissouri Bay Divers pride itself on safe, enjoyable, and memorable underwater experiences. They cater to locals and visitors offering the best treatment with amazing diving experiences. They accommodate novices to seasoned divers with a host of courses and dive sites to enjoy during your stay.

The team tailors their client's dive packages based on their needs with shore and boat dives. The team are flexible and provides experienced instructors. Some of the most popular dives they offer is Lady Thetis which is a thirty-meter wreck lying on a sandy bottom at nineteen meters. She was a recreational boat with dining tables on the top deck, you can explore the captain's bridge and engine room. The Constandis lies around twenty-three meters with an easily accessible engine room. This wreck is surrounded by octopus, sea bream, groupers and morays.

Zenobia is one of the most popular diving experiences in Cyprus offered by Pissouri Bay Divers. The wreck was built in 1979 and is a roll-on, roll-off ferry, she had one hundred and four trucks on board, along with cargo when she sank, while the Vera K was a military for target practice. She is a Lebanese Freighter that lies grounded in shallow waters at eleven meters. She was blown up to reduce danger to other ships and provides an interesting dive that covers a wide area.

The White Star, which sank in 2007, is one of the newest dive experiences provided by Pissouri Bay Divers. This wreck was built in 1954 and purchased by a Cyprus company. She was used until 2005 when she was taken out of service. While most of the infrastructure was removed she sank ten minutes outside of Paphos harbor, lying between fourteen and eighteen meters below the sea. She offers an excellent dive with plenty of exploration, along with an abundance of marine life.

“We also offer a number of shore dives for those wanting to dive in Cyprus,” said Steve Theakston, the Owner of Pissouri Bay Divers. “The Amphitheatre is one of the top dive sites, a natural geographical formation that was formed by sea currents and resembles an amphitheater. It is at a depth of eight meters with a maximum depth of twenty-two meters. It includes reefs and walls with plenty of coral and marine life. For those that are relatively new to diving, we offer the opportunity to explore a shore dive from St Georges, which is a peaceful lagoon, sheltered by a breakwater with excellent diving conditions throughout the year.”
