Wer sein Handy verlegt hat, der kann optional auch ein Signal aussenden, um dieses problemlos orten zu können.Gegen Staub und Wasser ist die Alcatel Onetouch Watch ebenfalls gerüstet. Die Aufladung erfolgt über einen USB-Anschluss im Armband der Uhr, der Akku hat dabei eine Kapazität von 210 mAh und soll für eine Laufzeit von rund 2-5 Tagen ausreichen. Die Ladedauer beträgt lediglich 1 Stunde, bis die Uhr wieder vollständig aufgeladen ist. Der Anschluss sitzt dabei direkt im Armand, es ist kein extra Kabel notwendig. Die Smartwatch wird seitens Alcatel Onetouch in verschiedenen Ausführungen angeboten werden: Sporty Dark Red/Volcano Black, Feminine All-White, Classic Chrome/Dark Gray und Elegant Meta-White.

Auf der CES wurde die Uhr erstmals präsentiert. So sieht die Alcatel Onetouch Watch am Arm aus. Das Armband besitzt eine Breite von 20 mm, der Durchmesser des Uhrenkörpers liegt bei 41,8 mm und die Höhe bei 10,5 mm. Das Display ist 1,22-Zoll groß und bietet 262 k Farben. Die Uhr bietet sogar eine Vibrationsfunkion und NFC-Unterstützung, sowie die IP67 Zertifizierung für Staub- und Wasserschutz. Als Prozessor kommt ein STM 429 zum Einsatz. Ein paar weitere Eindrücke der Oberfläche vermittelt die offizielle Webseite von Alcatel.Einen Termin nannte Alcatel leider noch nicht, der Preis soll allerdings voraussichtlich bei 169 Euro liegen. Für den Betrieb ist ein Android Smartphone mit Version 4.3 oder neuer beziehungsweise ein Smartphone mit iOS 7 oder neuer notwendig. Aufgrund der Bluetooth 4.0-Verbindung dürften ältere Modelle als das iPhone 4s ebenfalls ausgeschlossen sein.

Der Chip hat vier Kerne mit bis zu 1,4 GHz und eine stärkere Mali 720 MP2 Grafikeinheit.Speziell im Bereich der Bildbearbeitung mit Filtern oder anderen Effekten sollen die Intel Atom x3 Prozessoren vergleichbaren MediaTek (MT6582) und Qualcomm (MSM8212, MSM8226) um 50 bis 80 Prozent überlegen sein. Gegenüber Qualcomm MSM89xx Quadcores rechnet der Atomx3-C3440 in diesem Szenario laut Intel bis zu zweimal schneller. HD-Videowiedergabe gehört natürlich auch zum Repertoire.
