AIRC stands for “All India Research Championship”. After its successful conduction for past three successive years, we have now come up with its 3rd season in association with Techkriti 18, IIT Kanpur. Prizes and rewards up to 1 lakh will be awarded to the winning teams along with a chance to do internship with Tech Giant, TechieNest. Since the last three years AIRC had its theme of robotics but this time the theme of AIRC is based on AI(Artificial Intelligence) & IoT(Internet of Things) wherein a person employed in software development, Networking, Embedded Systems or any other such domains by any means would use his/her knowledge of AI & IoT to intensively participate in the event.

AI (Artificial Intelligence): AI is the science of making computers to do things that require intelligence when done by humans. Artificial intelligence research is not merely to mimic intelligence or produce some clever fake, but ‘AI’ is to create “machines with minds” in the full and literal sense and empower humans with intelligent machines. We have a choice that how we use this powerful technology as either to augment and compete this with us or use it to augment/collaborate with us as image, speech and text understanding.

IoT (Internet of Things): IoT is an ecosystem of interrelated computing devices, mechanical and digital machines or objects that are provided with unique identifiers and has the ability to transfer data over a network without requiring human-to-human or human-to-computer interaction.
