A. No. It is unlikely as it improves self-esteem and teaches them self-control.

Martial arts is a way to develop self-control and the ability to use knowledge, rather than strength, in order overcome an opponent. It's about technique and being able to use the other person's aggression in your favor. Self-defense is an art.

Depending on the discipline you practice, there are different uniforms and suits. Within each discipline, the uniforms or suits are identical except for the color of the belt. This is to confirm the standard attained and reflects their hard work in the sport.

It is not academic and it will build their self-esteem and teach them respect. Above all, it will boost their confidence.
