Every individual has different preferences as there are many factors that come into play such as budget, transportation preference, and so on. Here’s a simple comparison we’ve made among three sites which are Agoda, Expedia, and Hotels.com.

Unless you’re a seasoned traveller, planning a trip can be a stressful process. It can be difficult to figure out where to start as you’re bombarded with a string of options such as flights, hotels, and things to do. Travel aggregator sites have made planning for a trip much easier, but it tends to look similar to each other after going through a few. So, what are the differences between these sites?

Filtering options

Agoda

Under the “Room offers” section in Agoda’s filtering options, it allows travellers to select their accommodation according to special requests such as availability of breakfast, free cancellation, pay at the hotel, and book now, pay later. This is especially helpful for travellers who are undecisive or short on cash for the time being. On top of that, there is a “neighbourhood” option where travellers are able to select accommodations which are further away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre. https://iprice.sg/coupons/agoda/

Expedia

Other than the common ones (price, star ratings, accommodation type, etc.), the only unique filtering option for Expedia is “properties near train station”. Nevertheless, it is still an important aspect when it comes to travelling, as public transport is the easiest way to travel around.

Hotels.com

Among the three travel aggregator sites, Hotels.com has the most filtering options which makes it easier for travellers to make their final decision. One unique feature of Hotels.com’s filtering option is the themes you can choose based on your accommodation preference. From Boutique hotels to golf resorts, there are a total of 8 themes to choose from.
