Since its establishment in 1874, The Regatta Hotel withstood fire, flood, and over a century of change. The hotel has evolved in many ways, but its beauty and grandeur remained.

[TOOWONG, 01/09/2016] – The Regatta Hotel offers a range of event venues for weddings and corporate functions in Australia. Following the 2011 Brisbane floods, the hotel underwent a $10 million restoration, which resulted in the establishment of the Front Bar, Street Café, Courtyard, Gaming Room and Boatshed. Apart from these new venues, the hotel has a vast selection of function rooms and beautifully designed halls that provide guests with memorable experiences.

It is difficult to find restaurants with private dining rooms – these are rare, especially in Brisbane. The Regatta Hotel offers six function rooms that could house crowds of varied sizes.

● Winterford – This is the hotel’s premier private space. Located at the front of the hotel, it overlooks both the Brisbane River and the Coronation Drive. It is a popular choice for corporate events and wedding receptions.

● Thornton – This room works best for seated, private dinners, corporate meetings, cocktail events and special occasions. It gives guests access to their private verandah, which overlooks the Brisbane River.

● Gailey - This is the room adjoining both the Thornton and Gazzard rooms and this offers a little extra room to mingle.

● Gazzard – Usually used for corporate functions, this room is equipped with a suspended plasma screen and a ceiling-mounted projector.

● Function Level Verandahs – The Regatta Hotel presents iconic views of the Brisbane River and the city skyline through this private verandah. Plus, the view of the jacaranda makes a beautiful backdrop when it blooms from September through January.

● Henley Room – Located near the Boatshed, this room is famous for its wine cellar. It is also popular for its audio-visual equipment, surround sound system and dark wood features.

The Walrus Club is described as a scene from the Great Gatsby. It gives reference to the Prohibition era. It offers the exclusive use of the Ladies lounge and the Temperance Bar for celebrations on Thursdays to Saturdays, during trading hours. It is also available outside office hours upon request.

For large seated events, the Boatshed Restaurant is the ideal place for corporate breakfasts and luncheons.
