A second escape would happen in May, shortly before Nintendo's scheduled E3 Direct. A day after, the image was apparently confirmed to be just that. In response to some speculative post, game programmer Matthew Stott wrote at a since-deleted tweet,"it is a dev kit we have some in the office." Assuming this is Stott's LinkedIn webpage, he had been a senior artist in Grid programmer Codemasters from August 2007 through October 2019, lending credence to his potential confirmation.
