Why use Malt Extract In Beers?

The first and the foremost thing that you notice when you pour the beer in glass is its colour and foam - which mostly comes from malt.

Coloured malts provide colour to the beer such as base malt provides amber colour to malt and adding more coloured malts will give you deeper and darker colours. Not only this malt also provides roasted, caramel and chocolate flavours and foam to beer.

3. Contributes to the health aspect of beer.

Malt is a grain product - rice, wheat and rye, typically barley which ultimately contributes to health. Malt provides protein, soluble fibres, vitamins B2, B3, and B6; essential amino acids, soluble fibres, vitamins B2, B3, and B6; the minerals iron, calcium, and potassium; and the micro-minerals magnesium, manganese, and selenium.
