Investments in Qatar's petrochemical industry are expected to boost its export portfolio to 23 million tons per annum by 2020. With demand for petrochemicals on the rise globally and the changing dynamics of supply along with the evolving dynamics of feedstock, companies world over are eager to invest in the region tapping into its huge potential with respect to technology. The 4th Annual Global Petrochemicals Technology Conference is gathering oil and gas professionals who will look into the latest global developments in the industry and devise strategies for the future. The conference will be held at the Grand Hyatt Doha Hotel, Qatar from 6 - 8 May 2014. The three day conference will feature panel discussions, case studies and presentations on first two days and workshops on the final day of the conference.

He will focus on process reliability improvement and identifying optimization opportunities for sustained operations. Marathe has got 34 years of experience in the areas of operation, new grass root plants commissioning, project management, industrial relations and business transformation.
Kuwait Oil Company, Qatar Petrochemical Company - QAPCO, GRP Ltd, Breitling Energy, Linkers Chemicals & Polymers Technology and Kaust Catalysis Center - KCC will also be presenting at the coneference. They will be presenting on topics like targeting operational excellence, energy efficiency & profitability through the development of petrochemical & energy intensive industrial cities, integrating carbon management in petrochemical complexes, manufacturing excellence through advance plant monitoring, breakthrough technology to convert methanol from coal to plastics and technological transfer in the petrochemical industry.
