With the opening message from the Chairperson Tarun Sofat, Director Development & Investments of Bloomrooms, the summit was inaugurated. Sahdev Mehta, General Manager of Hilton Double Tree shared his insights on the burning topic “India - The Emerging Market For The Hospitality Sector”. Hemal Jain, General Manager of Alila Hotels & Resorts spoke on the impact of luxury hotels and budget hotels in India. The summit witnessed the launch of the brand new online portal 'Book a Trip 4 me.com' by The Hotel Times.in.

Mike Kistner, CEO of RezNext Global Solutions Pvt.Ltd which is also the associate sponsor of the summit shared his views on true real-time distribution. Daniel Lister, CEO of Danmagi, co - associate sponsor of the summit presented his insights on the evolution of HSIA technology for hotels from box to the cloud. Manbinder Singh, Systems Manager of JW Marriott Bengaluru spoke about maintaining a smooth flow of operations through information technology. His presentation was followed by lunch and networking session.

The crucial topic of return on investment and IT for better customer relationship management, was addressed by Prashanth Aroor, CEO of IntelliStay Hotels Private Limited, while Alok Belliappa, Director of Zuri Hotels presented on how information technology (IT) can help enhance customer experience

Panel discussion on the topic “The digitizing of the hotel sector for accentuate productivity, safety and revenue” was brainstormed by Mike Kistner, Pawan Kumar Dhiman, IT Manager from The Lalit Ashok and Manjunath Dinesh, CEO of Goldfinch hotels Pvt Ltd. Anjali Upadhyaya, Vice President HR Admin IT of Royal Orchid Hotels Bangalore, spoke on cost of investing in manpower, training and the rate of returns for the employing organization.
