The forum kicked-off with keynote on HSE in a changing regulatory environment by Luis Fernando Betancourt Sánchez, HSE Under-Director from PEMEX. Shifting focus on best HSE and energy efficiency practices for Luis Tadeu Furlan, General Manager – CORP/SMES from Petrobras presented on ways to improve energy efficiency in operational activities. Tomorrow, the forum will focus on sessions related to hazard identification, risk analysis and control strategies to prevent accidents. Day two will also have a workshop on emergency response and disaster management systems.
