DC Stakeholders Summit to discuss and debate the regional challenges in a competitive landscape.

District Cooling (DC) in the Middle East has witnessed rapid changes over the last few years given the demand for alternate means of cooling as well as pro visionary measures to create sustainable environments in relation to energy and water conservation. Dubai's Demand Side Management Strategy, which lays foundation to energy efficiency in the region by implementing cost-effective demand saving measures has identified district cooling as a key program in achieving this national vision. The goal to increase penetration of district cooling from 16% of refrigeration capacity in 2011 to 40% in 2030 by regulating the district cooling industry and supporting connection of existing buildings to district cooling will indeed see a spurt in development of DC technologies and projects.

The 3rd Annual DC Stakeholders Summit, an annualized summit for DC practitioners, developers and vendors, will be held on 17th and 18th March, 2015 at Dusit Thani In Dubai, U.A.E. and will focus on leveraging District Cooling technologies, solutions and products, that will guide new districts and mega project developers to deploy more economical and energy efficient infrastructures in line with global benchmarks.

This year's summit will host speakers of high repute, namely Dr. Rashed Alshaali, Director of Energy Conservation and Efficiency, Ministry of Energy, UAE and H.E. Dr. Abdullah Al-Shehri, Governor, Electricity & Co-Generation Regulatory Authority (ECRA), Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), who will deliver the keynote speeches at the event alongside other DC experts such as George Berbari, Chief Executive Officer, DC Pro Engineering, UAE, Dr. Ghazi El Sherif, Environmental Expert Quality Safety & Environment Dept, Public Works Authority (Ashghal), Sultan Al Khuraissi, Director Of Buildings Department, Royal Commission Of Jubail, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and many more.
