7th Edition MENA HR Summit Focuses On 'People Strategy Driving Business Strategy'

Multi-sectoral HR professionals to connect with industry experts in Abu Dhabi
 
The 7th edition of the MENA HR Summit organised by Fleming Gulf, taking place between 15 – 17 September 2014 at Le Royal Meridien, Abu Dhabi, UAE is aimed at serving HR professionals from across the region who are keen on developing value-added HR strategies in today’s workforce scenario. From discussions on crucial HR issues to exploring new opportunities as well as learning best practices from leading HR stalwarts from across the industry, the annual summit is themed under ‘People Strategy Driving Business Strategy’.

Keynote presentations by Sultan Al Hajji, Vice President & Chief Strategy Officer of the TOTAL Exploration & Production - 'Transition to the Future of HR' and 'Little alignments for Greater Impacts' by Omar Salem Al Shamlan, Vice President,Manpower Development of ADMA OPCO, will feature on Day 1. Discussion panels on 'Strategies to Attract, Engage & Retain National Talent' and HR Transformation Agenda- 2020, will also highlight the first day's proceedings followed by the networking sessions. Day two of the summit will see keynote presentations from Umran Beba, Senior Vice President and Chief HR Officer of PepsiCo AMEA on "Diversity and Inclusion Women Empowerment in Business" and by Fahad Al AbdulKarim, HR Director - Arabian Peninsula & Pakistan from Procter & Gamble, KSA on "Power Of Employees Engagement to Unleash Peak Performance."

Other presentations at the summit include “Innovative Approaches to National Workforce Development” by Zuhair H. Al Haj Director of HR & Localization, MENA Al- Futtaim Group, 'A Step Towards Employee Satisfaction' by Dr. Heena Bulchandani, Training & Development Specialist of Dubai Water & Electricity Authority, and 'Diversity Matters Practice: Showcasing the Famous Alcatel Lucent Initiative “STRONGHER” as a Real Successful Inclusion Practice' by Haitham Samman, Global HR Director of Alcatel-Lucent along with other presentations from senior industry leaders. The 3-day event will culminate with two intensive workshop classes which will involve interactive sessions, reflection on days' learning, group exercises and more.
