A recent survey found that eighty percent of couples interviewed are making more time for romance, even with busy schedules at work, while forty-nine percent of couples are looking for romantic beach holidays for up to seven days. Couples are preparing for the New Year with many expecting their relationships to improve in the next year, making more time now for romance, even with the rise of inflation.

Couples are looking for more than gifts from their loved ones this holiday season with fifty-five saying that sharing a sunset is more important than a material gift and fifty-two percent want to try a new restaurant with their significant other. Each couple has their definition of what romance is, but they all find that a couple's holiday deal to a beautiful destination is the most romantic experience, bringing them closer together.

Many of the couples taking part in the survey believe that they will be even busier next year and need to find the time for romance. The biggest obstacles that couples face when planning a romantic holiday are finding the right destination, financial constraints, work commitments, social obligations, and their children.
