Martial Arts Classes for Children in Michigan

The martial arts classes for children in Michigan Academy of Taekwondo is designed to keep lessons fun. Classes feature games and enjoyable exercises. Instructors at the center, however, still maintain the objective: to equip children with life skills to make good decisions as they grow into adulthood.

The center’s program focuses on three areas: confidence, athletic fundamentals, and good character development.

Every area enables students in the program to gain techniques that build their character and skills. The center finds that these will help children throughout their life, in school, in the workplace, and with their families.

The Center’s Approach

Michigan-based martial arts center also has programs tailored to teens and adults. The adult program, in contrast to the teens, features a fitness component.

But all classes reflect the center’s approach to taekwondo.

The center explains, “Here at the Michigan Academy of Taekwondo, we blend the traditions of respect, discipline, and structure with the high energy, fun, and dynamic aspect of the sport. Taekwondo has become the most popular martial art in the world with 70 million practitioners across 200 countries.”
