A new book has come out that chronicles the story of Janie Renee Cochran, her illness, her crime and a long time in the harsh environment of prison. In prison she found everything from sex to loneliness. This is a book for anyone who has ever suffered a mental disorder or knows someone who has. It talks about the world of au pairs (international nannies) and a Federal court system in which mental illness is a punishable crime. It is the story of a love affair the author had with the most unlikely person. Through her writing the reader will get a glimpse into the counterproductive nature of prison through the eyes of a middle-class soccer mom.
