[Beckenham, 27/05/2021] – J’amies Gymnastics Academy, the biggest network for recreational gymnastics in South East England, provides premium gymnastics classes for children of all ages since 2007.

With over 6000 members in over 97 locations per week, JGA offers a range of programmes including recreational classes, private tuition, pre-school classes, birthday parties, gymnastics clubs, and holiday workshops.

Their coaching team consists of both trainee and qualified full and part-time coaches who have competed at regional, national and international levels.

Parent and child classes

This programme is designed to help children develop fundamental movement and sensory skills. Classes are parent-aided and can accommodate children who are walking independently up to 3 years old.

The classes follow set educational themes for warming up and separate themes that cover various elements of gymnastics each week. Each class is composed of two huge interactive circuits where parents guide their children in performing different gymnastic activities alongside the guidance of JGA’s fully trained coaches.

Students also have the chance to join JAG’s PROgressive medals scheme and British Gymnastics Proficiency Award Programme which are offered every term.

Pre-school classes

Pre-school classes are designed for gymnasts aged 3 years old to school starting age.

Classes always begin with an educational warm-up that focuses on basic motor skills including agility, balance, coordination, strength, and spatial awareness. Students will then divide into groups and proceed with equipment-based activities. They will have to complete two apparatus circuits on two of the following equipment:

- Bars
- Beam
- Floor vault
- Trampette
- Catcher
- Fast Track
- Mini Track Floor

Minis and masters

The Mini-master’s programme is built for students who are looking to participate at levels 1 and 2 of the London GFA grading competition. Once they have passed these levels, students may progress to JAG’s master’s programme.

JAG integrates Club Competitions, British Gymnastics Award Systems, rewarding sticker charts, and personal certificates for all gymnasts at the end of each term.
