The hold however is what I wanted to mention. The hold sucks. The spray does keep hair in place for the first few hours after spraying it in, but as the day goes on, slowly the hold lets loose allowing frizz to pop back up, and hair to fall from its place. Avenue Hair Try These Rene Furterer Naturia Dry Shampoo ($24). This one is one of the most popular ones around. It definitely does a great job getting rid of oil and smells great. But I have a sensitive scalp so it leaves my scalp feeling a bit dry. It contains an absorbent clay powder and gets its fragrance from essential oils. Klorane Gentle Shampoo with Oat Milk ($18). This is my personal favorite. It's excellent for sensitive or dry scalps and has a nice, light fragrance. The formula is hypoallergenic and based on a softening, protective oat extract and micronized powders that absorb oil. Klorane also makes an extra gentle version (haven't tried that one though).
