Not knocking that or trying to call for any current teams to be removed. I don't mind any teams being there, just hoping we can maybe push them to the table to negotiate more. I think you're right that a guy like Maradona probably asked for a lot of money, hence why he is not included as a legend. Croatia may have asked for double, but they've been in previous titles. I really think EA could approach them and negotiate with them to get the licenses to be fair for both sides.

I honestly think that they send a letter with the license offer and if the federations don't accept, they move on. They could do more, I know they can. We can sit here and debate EA's effort, but just from many of the facts currently surrounding the game as I stated (career, lack of inserting scans even those they already took!!, offline modes, etc.) so many other issues that just reek of laziness and incompetence, I've come to the conclusion that they can do better.

I hope that if we make our complaints known like career mode, they might sit up and take notice and stop coasting by on the fact that FUT is popular. They may lose a market share, even if small, to PES if they don't make many of the non-FUT players happy. That loss of profit is important and they should try to do what they can to make us content with our purchase. I've not been content with any mode outside of FUT this year. They're all okay, but most have very minor, almost non-existent changes.

We're speculating here as to who is at fault though. fut16coin tend to believe that it's EA who has the shorter attention span when it comes to negotiating. I'm basing this purely on every other aspect of the game. You assuming that FA's are asking a King's ransom when these teams are in every World Cup title is not fair. EA should at least let us know that they tried and failed. We honestly hear nothing about this from either side , which is why we are speculating.

If this becomes a big enough topic, maybe they'll tell us about the negotiations and give people like me an answer. If they did, I'd be happy to be quiet , but as of now, nobody is making any noise, so they could easily not care and we would never know. They didn't care about career mode, and we made a difference. Maybe the same could happen here. Sounds like you are just accepting the status quo. Hopefully you can understand why I'm doing this. I'm not just complaining to circle jerk. I'm hoping this will either lead to some change or at least an explanation. I've never heard EA discuss why certain teams aren't in the games. Don't think it's ever been asked.

Wish we could send a message to the mod who went to test 16 at EA to see if he could get even a hint about this. All I am saying is EA Canada has one job... to earn Fifa 16 coins. The Croatian FA has, hopefully, a lot more, and certainly more important things to do. So if I had to guess which part spent less time negotiating, my guess would be on the one whose jobs are not based around making the video game.
