Big is better as displayed at the G Star Fall 2011 runway show last night. Dramatically oversized pants in denim, wool, and even sleeping bag material Golden Goose Sneakers were a major component of the lineup. Fitted waists, billowing legs, and genie pant bottoms were paired with fitted vests, shirts and tailored jackets.
JS: At first it was about sharing my passion and obsessions, I mean who doesnt love a good outlet? Then I started receiving feedback. I think that is a major factor. Feedback is always my motivation, I love to learn from people and connect with them. I say that my blog readers and Twitter followers are my best friends because of the fact that they engage in my blog and for them to enjoy what Im writing just makes me feel so good.
The mostly black and white film had a demonic, robotic feel to it with eerie music and sound effects. Vojnovic was a good choice for the artfully crafted video. Unfortunately, though it was wonderful to get to see how the clothing pieces actually move, at times it was hard to make out the look and feel of the http://www.goldengoosesneakers.it/ pieces for a true understanding of this season’s collection.
Less impressive were Jennifer Lopez in a cut-out Fall 2011 Emilio Pucci gown that would have looked better had it been sleeveless and lacked the contrasting print, but kudos to the mama of two for her killer abs. Similarly,Mary Louise Parkers Dolce & Gabbana red mermaid gown would have looked significantly better had she done without the waist corsage.
