Rivet nuts are one of the most used materials in hardware materials. They usually appear in various metallic materials. They are mainly used for fastening materials, but they also solve the problem that the base material is prone to welding deformation over time and solve the problem of internal ribs caused by slippery teeth defects. When the material is locked, it is very fixed and easy to use and store. It is one of the most important hardware materials for production and industrial use, carbon steel rivet nut is one of them. .
At present, the standard rivet nuts on the market mainly include carbon steel, stainless steel and other materials.
The first is carbon steel. We distinguish low carbon steel, medium carbon steel, high carbon steel and alloy steel according to the carbon content of carbon steel materials.
1. Low carbon steel C%≤0.25% is usually called A3 steel in China. It is basically called 1008, 1015, 1018, 1022, etc. abroad. Mainly used for products that do not require hardness, such as grade 4.8 bolts and grade 4 nuts, small screws. (Note: 1022 material is mainly used for drill tail nails.)
2. Medium carbon steel 0.25% 3. High carbon steel C%> 0.45%. Basically not used in the market.
3. Alloy steel: Add alloying elements to ordinary carbon steel to increase some of the special properties of steel: such as 35, 40 chromium molybdenum, SCM435, 10B38. Fangsheng screws mainly use SCM435 chromium-molybdenum alloy steel, the main components are C, Si, Mn, P, S, Cr, Mo.
The second type is stainless steel. Performance grade: mainly divided into austenite (18%Cr, 8%Ni), with good heat resistance, good corrosion resistance and good weldability. A1, precision hardware, A2, A4 martensite, 13% Cr, poor corrosion resistance, high strength, moderate price, and good wear resistance. C1, C2, C4 ferritic stainless steel. 18% Cr has better creep resistance and corrosion resistance than martensite. Currently, the imported materials on the market are mainly Japanese products. According to the grade, it is mainly divided into SUS302, SUS304 and SUS316.
Both flat head rivet nut s and carbon steel rivet nuts are rivet nuts, which are good choices in terms of appearance and function. As long as there is industry on the earth, the function of fasteners will always be important.www.khfastener.com
