According to reliable sources told Somali Times, warlord Said Deni killed more than 200 civilians and every corner of the city are dead corpses. Civilians fleeing the city has been caught up in the fighting and causality are between 500-600.
In early December, a group of clan elders led by Boqor Burhan, the supreme traditional leader in Punltand, met and issued a formula to stop the dangers of hostilities from escalating.
However, President Deni categorically objected to the elders’ resolution.
However, Puntland's Failed Leader Now Vying for Federal President, followed by the details of rigging votes, his attack on his own parliament, and recently, his US-backed security forces in Bosaso, resulting in an indiscriminate shelling of civilians.
Hundreds of Minnesota based Somalis, unaware of Mr. Denis recent casualties and poor track record as Puntland president attending suspicious rally this weekend at Delta Hotels Minneapolis Northeast 1330 Industrial Blvd NE, Minneapolis, MN 55413. Which some say funded by warlord Deni and friends. Deni officially declared his candidacy for Somalia presidency,
after more than 2 years where he negotiated the electoral system & selected for himself countless MPs loyal to him across Somalia. In his official speech Deni said his personal 1st priority is to remove president Farmaaj. The Somali public overwhelmingly rejected Deni’s buffoonery and What’s shocking is that his lack of substance & agenda for why he’s seeking the presidency. No policy, no goals and no plan at all and he got no agenda to sell the partliment to elect him.
