London Increases Security by Installing More CCTV Cameras

A CCTV camera is very important for the police as the major part of evidence lies in the footages gathered from the nearby security cameras.

This year the number of CCTV cameras will increase as there is a high demand for the security system from CCTV trade suppliers. The number has gone up to 627,000 and on an average, for every 14 people, there is one camera. The security has been increased for both commercial properties and the private residential. But why this increase in surveillance is seen? It is done because of the increased fear of people for their houses and complex where the offices are situated. People are frequently inquiring about the new and latest versions of security systems from their CCTV local supplier. People need immediate action and a CCTV footage acts as a piece of evidence and people get really scared when polices doesn't act fast on the scene. They even start sharing it on social media.

A national surveillance camera day was launched by the University of Stirling in order to make people aware of the CCTV security technology. This will initiate the people to think more about the betterment of society by installing the security service. This is beneficial because there are many instances that happen and the attacker or the intruder flees the scene without any trace. To keep a record of the entire footage one would need a DVR and for that, you should contact the best dvr company in London.

There was an instance when a man pushed a 91- year old on the subway tracks and later took the subway only to get off a few stations where he would push another 23-year old boy. The man suffered serious pelvic injuries and a deep cut on the head. In another instance, a 22- year old half dragged and half carried a 60-year old grandmother in a nearby alley where he forced himself on her. He later fled the scene and was later caught with the help of CCTV footage. Both of these instances were caught by the security systems. If it was not for the security cameras, both the victims would have fled and would have never been caught.

If you have a security camera then get it registered by the police. A CCTV camera is very important for the police as the major part of evidence lies in the footage gathered from the nearby security cameras. Police have announced the registration of cameras by filling a small online form. This is a great initiative by the police department as to when the residents register their CCTV security cameras with the police and if some malicious activity happens in their area, the police will be able to access the data DVR without disturbing the residents. This is completely charitable and if the person does not want to register their security systems then it will not be an issue. This will only add the security to the living area and later the crime in that area will gradually decrease.
