Das Mpman NT11 ist ein mit 10,6 Zoll großem Display ausgerüstetes Mini-Notebook, in dem wie auch im größeren Modell etwas ältere Tablet-Technik ihren Dienst tut. Das Display ist leicht mattiert und kommt ohne Touch-Unterstützung aus, während die Auflösung bei 1366x768 Pixeln für die Größe ausreichend ausfällt. Das Gerät ist im klassischen Clamshell-Design gehalten, der Bildschirm kann also weder abgenommen, noch komplett nach hinten umgeklappt werden.
Im Innern steckt hier der Intel Atom Z3735F, der noch aus der alten Intel "Bay Trail"-Familie stammt und in vielen günstigen Tablets seinen Dienst tat. Der Chip hat vier 1,33 Gigahertz schnelle Kerne, die bei Bedarf auf maximal 1,84 GHz übertakten können. Dem niedrigen Preis entsprechend fällt die Speicherausstattung mit zwei Gigabyte Arbeitsspeicher und 32 GB eMMC-Speicher dürftig aus. Eine Erweiterung ist nicht direkt möglich, weil der RAM- und Flash-Speicher direkt auf dem Mainboard aufgelötet sind.

Der Akku dürfte die gleiche Kapazität aufweisen wie beim kleineren Modell, auch wenn im Datenblatt offiziell von nur 4200mAh die Rede ist. Mit knapp 1,4 Kilogramm bewegt sich das 14-Zoll-Modell mit seinem größeren Bildschirm auf einem für diese Kategorie üblichen Niveau. Auch hier läuft wieder Windows 10 als 32-Bit-Variante. Für das Mpman NT14 verlangt Notebooksbilliger aktuell 129 Euro.
Beide Modelle verfügen zudem über einen Fingerabdruckleser, mittels dem sie, mit Hilfe von Windows Hello, schnell und bequem entsperrt werden können. Zur Ausstattung gehört außerdem eine 720p-Webcam und Dolby Advanced Audio-zertifizierte Stereolautsprecher. Die Tastatur kann optional mit einer Hintergrundbeleuchtung geordert werden. Mit jeweils knapp 20 Millimetern Bauhöhe und einem Gewicht von 1,75 bzw. 2,1 Kilogramm liegen die neuen ThinkPad E480 und E580 auf dem in ihren Größenklassen üblichen Niveau.
