[DENVER, 10/25/2017] — Individuals with eating disorder situations, such as binge eating disorder, bulimia, anorexia, and diabulimia, can benefit from the Partial Hospitalization Program of EDCare. The program consists of therapy and therapeutic activities scheduled ten hours a day, seven days a week. Local patients go back home each day after the program.
Run by a Team of Experts
EDCare’s multidisciplinary team of registered dietitians, family therapists, clinicians, physicians, and board-certified psychiatrists are committed to bringing about change through empowerment. The team will utilize evidence-based care and clinically proven treatment modalities to treat patients with eating disorders.
The team will also ensure medical evaluation and oversight. There will be board-certified psychiatrists who will oversee the treatment. They will ensure the appropriate regimen focus, including the correct diagnosis and treatment of co-morbid psychiatric conditions. Additionally, a board-certified internist will attentively follow patients by monitoring their physical and medical conditions.
What Patients Can Expect on Admissions Day
