Rohr is super eagles coach who was appointed as the head coach of the Super Eagles in 2016. "The Falcons will tango with El Tri at AT & T Arena in Dallas, Texas on Saturday, May 28th before travelling to New Jersey to face Ecuador at Red Bull Field in Harrison on Thursday, June 2nd," according to the statement.
According to the NFF, Peseiro's second partner and chief trainer of the CHAN and U23 Public Groups will be Salisu Yusuf, with former Nigeria international striker Finidi George serving as Peseiro's most notable assistant.
Usman Abdallah is the third teammate, the match examiner is Eboboritse Uwejamomere, and the goalkeepers are coached by former Nigerian international Ike Shorounmu.
José Vitor dos Santos Peseiro, 62, is a Portuguese coach who has managed prominent clubs and national teams throughout Europe, Asia, Africa, and South America.
Sporting Lisbon, FC Porto, Panathinaikos, Rapid Bucharest, Sporting Braga, Victoria Guimaraes, Al-Hilal, Al-Wahda, Al-Ahly Cairo, Sharjah FC, and Real Madrid are among the clubs he has coached (assistant coach during the Galacticos era). He was the Saudi and Venezuelan national teams' head coach. His extensive teaching expertise spans four continents, including Europe, Asia, Africa, and South America, according to his profile.
Peseiro has a degree in physical education/sports sciences. He has coached at Al-Hilal, Al-Wahda, and Al-Ahly Cairo, in addition to Sporting Lisbon, FC Porto, Panathinaikos, Rapid Bucharest, Sporting Braga, and Victoria.
His clients include Sharjah FC, Real Madrid (assistant coach during the Galacticos period), the Saudi Arabian, and Venezuelan national teams.
When the Super Eagles' coaching staff was restructured in February, the NFF stated, "we believe that there may be an opportunity to work with him in the future." Peseiro disputed being named Nigeria's head coach as a result of the verdict.
