Everest Base Camp Trek
Everest Base Camp Trek takes approximately 15 or 21 days based on where you begin your trek. You need to be well equipped with sleeping bags, dedicated clothing, gears and accessories for this trek. The permit cost is USD 70.00 per person for first week and USD 10.00 for each additional days after first from September to November. From December to August, the fee is USD 50.00 for first week and USD 7.00 for each additional days after one week. You will need two additional permits of Annapurna Conservation Area Project and Manaslu Conservation Area Project each or NRS 3000.

Helambu Trek

The Thorung La pass at an elevation of 5416 meters will be the highest point during the trekking. The route is very inhospitable between December to mid March because of snow at the Thorung La pass. The trek ends in either Naya Pul, where the Jomsom trekking begins, or in Beni. Very good precautions need to be taken as weather during any time of the year may put the trekkers and porters in danger, doing this trek. There are tea houses along the route for food and lodging. But throughout the season they are overcrowded. You need to pay rupees 2,000 (approximately US dollar 30.00 as the entry fee to the Annapurna Conservation region.
