Symptoms of Diabetes:

The symptoms of diabetes either develop suddenly or over a course of weeks. Urine test and blood tests are usually conducted to diagnose diabetes. The urine test helps in detecting the ketones and proteins in the urine by which doctors can make sure how well the kidneys are functioning. A person can also test the sugar levels himself using a Blood glucose meter. This is an instrument that should be a part of the medical kit of every diabetic, especially for a person suffering from type I diabetes.
