Google Maps is used by 1 billion people on a monthly basis. 2 billion people use Google Chrome to conduct searches on the internet. Google tracks and records all this information from its users. It uses this information to show personalized Ads.

However, Google monitors and records the travel information of the users to promote businesses near the traveler’s location. It sends the user’s location and history of preferences to the highest bidder.

Fortunately for us we can prevent Google from keeping tabs on us. In the following steps we will show how to stop Google from recording location history. Location history refers to the list of locations visited. This feature may be enabled by default as well as manually.

How to Delete Location History from a Mobile Device
To prevent Google from tracking location the following steps can be followed

Open the Google application on your phone.
Click on your profile picture.
Then choose the “Manage your Google account’.
