Burbank, CA – The Movie Guys are thrilled to announce the return of WWE legend Mick Foley to The Movie Showcast to talk about his new film “I Am Santa Claus”.

Foley’s appearance will be on The Movie Showcast Episode #77, set to go live on iTunes, SoundCloud and TheMovieGuys.net Friday, Nov. 28th.

“I Am Santa Claus” is a documentary that poses a question about a ubiquitous holiday figure that few parents ever ask themselves; ‘Whose lap is my child sitting on?’ Mick Foley appears in and is executive producer of the film.

“The Movie Showcast” is ‘The Daily Show’ for movies!

This consistently funny show is a unique and irreverent look at the current movie scene with late night comedy-style jokes, sketches, scathing satire, lively banter and some seriously silly stuff. Whether previewing what’s coming up in theaters (their specialty) or reviewing what’s new, The Movie Guys will leave you laughing your asses off.

The Second City alum PAUL PRESTON spearheads a crew featuring his wife and comedy partner and fellow Second City alum KAREN VOLPE, Schadenfreude comedy troupe founding member ADAM WITT and stand-up comedy vet LEE KIAS. Joining these movie addicts are special guests every week. Some names who have stopped by the show include:

Ike Barinholtz (“The Mindy Project”)
Joel Murray (“Mad Men”)
Lloyd Kaufman (TROMA President)
Ted Raimi (“Xena: Warrior Princess”]
David Krumholtz (“Numb3rs”)
Steve Guttenberg (“Cocoon”)
Lew Temple (“The Walking Dead”)
Mark Borchardt (“American Movie”)

And many more!

“If Roger Ebert included song and dance and improv comedy in his film reviews, he’d have been stealing from The Movie Guys. And he wouldn’t have been nearly as hilarious as this funny film show. Bravo!” – Chris Gore, G4TV, PodCRASH
