Historical Mystery ‘Holy Ground’ Entered for Several Awards

Book publisher Books, Authors and Artists (BAA) has entered Karl F. Hollenbach’s Holy Ground for several upcoming awards.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE (Press Release) Apr 20, 2015 -- Louisville, KY – Book publisher Books, Authors and Artists (BAA) has entered Karl F. Hollenbach’s Holy Ground for several upcoming awards.

Holy Ground was released by BAA in May 2014 and the independent publisher has now entered the mystery novel into five awards:

- the eLit Book Awards,
- the 2015 Readers’ Favorite Awards,
- the National Indie Excellence Awards (NIEA),
- the USA Best Book Awards, and
- the Independent Publisher Book Awards (IPPY).

Astrid Gay, book publicist for BAA, says, “Holy Ground has recently received some very good reviews and the author has received awards the past couple of years. We’re spent lots of time making sure this book was as good as it could be, and we’re confident that Holy Ground will follow in its predecessors’ tracks.”

In 2013, author Karl F. Hollenbach was a nominated finalist in the 2013 Readers’ Favorite Awards with his children’s fantasy A Journey to The Four Kingdoms. This near success was improved upon during the 2014 Readers’ Favorite Awards, where Scrooge and Marley was first nominated a finalist then won an honorable mention in the Historical Personage / Fiction category.

Holy Ground follows David Crist, an attorney based in Louisville, Kentucky, as he tries to uncover the connection between a chest full of money that vanished during the American Civil War and his aunt and uncle recent disappearances.

Karl F. Hollenbach was born in 1925 in Louisville, Kentucky. He received his B.A. and M. Ed. from the University of Louisville. His esoteric and metaphysical articles have been published in Japan and England as well as the United States. He and his artist wife live on Dunsinane Hill Farm near Fort Knox, Kentucky.
