When an athlete hires Blue Star Elite Performance for their personal training, there are three different types of training programs that the athlete can select from – private training sessions, group training seasons and team training sessions.
In private training sessions, the athlete works one-on-one with the certified trainer to understand her weaknesses and strengths and accordingly work on these to achieve their full potential. The starting point and work is assessed and the progress over the weeks of training is noted down. Basis of the athlete’s performance, the development in proper mechanics, speed, agility and skill polishing is provided to push their own limits.
In group training sessions, the athletes are trained to improve their overall sport performance in every aspect. Here, they train with a group of athletes who are of similar age groups in order to develop better agility, speed, foot work and proper technique. The good part about group training sessions is that the team spends time on learning injury prevention techniques which include improving the core strength, balance and stability along with agility.
The third session is the team training session where the entire team is trained together to develop excellent team work towards the goal. These sessions are 1-2 hours long and the teams are trained together to condition their bodies for the respective sport as well as improve their stamina, agility and speed. The workouts given to the athletes in the teams are specifically designed keeping the respective sport in mind. Injury prevention techniques are also taught here along with building stability, agility, core strength and balance.
